What sets Michelle of Inner Connections Women Apart:
One on One Care: You will always be seen by Michelle and have my full attention for your appointment time. You have access to me via email and text in between appointments.
Longer Visits: Each visit will be 60-75 minutes so you can feel calm and relaxed and not rushed at the session.
Comfortable Environment: Creating a warm environment is key to calming your nervous system to feel safe for the intimate work we do together.
Holistic Whole-Body Approach: A person is made up of different parts that can be physical, emotional, spiritual, or environmental. Addressing all of these different angles can restore balance and bring about wellness, making treatment more successful.
Trauma Informed Care: Michelle believes in creating safety, trust, support, collaboration and empowerment with each client.
Michelle is a licensed occupational therapist who graduated from Wayne State University in 1994 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. With over 31 years of experience, she has worked across a variety of clinical settings before opening her private practice in 2006, where she focused on pediatrics and women’s health.
Over time, Michelle developed a deep passion for helping women reconnect with their bodies—especially through the lens of the nervous system, self-care, and pelvic health.
She firmly believes that self-care is health care, and she lives what she teaches—continually learning, growing, and integrating new tools and strategies into both her personal life and her work with clients.
Michelle’s journey into pelvic health began unexpectedly. Like many women, she didn’t even realize pelvic floor therapy existed—or that she might benefit from it—until a fellow occupational therapist encouraged her to take a course. That experience was truly life-changing, opening her eyes to an area of women’s health that is often overlooked and under-discussed. Now, Michelle is on a mission to change that.
She is deeply committed to educating and empowering women with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to feel comfortable, confident, and connected in their bodies at every stage of life.
Outside of her work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, playing games, and walking with her beloved furry companion. She brings warmth, curiosity, and genuine enthusiasm to everything she does—and she truly loves helping women feel their best.

“I started working with Michelle after hearing her at a presentation at Inforum. I found her approach to be consultative, personalized to my needs, and she was able to address some underlying issues that no healthcare provider had ever discussed with me. I would highly recommend Michelle to any woman considering her services. ”
